As the son of a custom home builder, I’ve been immersed in the real estate industry for my entire life. From working for my dad growing up through creating a home for my own children, I’ve been exposed to many sides of the business including purchasing and subdividing land, building, remodeling and selling homes just to list a few.

After teaching special education and coaching football for ten years, I took a break to stay at home with my three kids while my wife pursued her career. I continued to follow the real estate market and when the time came to decide how best to re-enter the professional world, starting a career in real estate seemed like a natural transition. I saw real estate as a way to help people in my position plan for the future of their families.

I enjoy trout fishing and exploring all the trails and streams in the area. My favorite past time would have to be playing the fiddle though. I feel lucky to have the opportunity to spend time with and make music with so many wonderful musicians and more importantly, good people. With all the wonderful things this area has to offer, I believe the wonderful people I come in contact with on a regular basis are its number one commodity.

As a musician, fly fisherman, a teacher and father I have a firm understanding that different people have different needs so, for everyone from river rats to new parents and flat pickers to grandparents, I’m ready to help with your transition to Western North Carolina.
